Job summary

Dornan, based in London, is seeking a Graduate Planner to support planning and project controls on major engineering and construction projects. You will work closely with planning, engineering and construction teams to learn scheduling and progress measurement in a live environment.

The programme offers hands-on responsibility from day one, mentorship, and professional development with tools like Primavera, Power BI, Excel, Bluebeam and digital site progress tools to build schedules, S-curves,

Qualifications

• Construction Management Degree (Level 8) within the past 3 years or currently pursuing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and work on live projects in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and project controls on major live engineering/construction projects.
• Set up Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Progress Measurement Systems (PMS).
• Conduct site walks to monitor progress and learn site operations.
• Update material take-offs (MTOs) and Installation Work Packs (IWPs).
