Orano Limited is offering a September 2027 intake for a Graduate Nuclear Safety Consultant based in Warrington or Abingdon. You will deliver safety analyses, engage with clients, and support multi‑discipline projects in a hybrid, full‑time capacity.

Candidates should have a scientific or engineering degree (or be close to completing one) and strong communication, problem solving and teamwork skills. UK work eligibility and security vetting are required.

SEPTEMBER 2027 INTAKE

Location: Warrington or Abingdon (Full-Time/Hybrid)

As a Graduate Nuclear Safety Consultant at Orano Limited, some of the specialist tasks you could be involved in are:

• Delivering consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, regarding technical excellence, the quality of deliverables, timescales and cost in a way that supports the long-term growth of the business and its reputation.
• Helping to providing nuclear safety deliverables for multi discipline projects.
• Actively participating in the integrated design process and interfacing with engineers, human factors, criticality and other specialists.
• Identifying hazards and safety measures and carrying out safety assessments.
• Developing and present robust and reasoned safety arguments in a rational and coherent manner.
• Attendance at meetings with more senior colleagues and interaction with the clients.
• Work with the bid team in the production of bids.

Qualifications

• Have a scientific or engineering degree (or working towards), or equivalent.

Additional

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted.
Travel to other Orano offices and client sites may be necessary. You should be willing to work flexibly to accommodate project and client requirements.
