Job summary

Orano Limited is seeking an EC&I Engineer to contribute to design deliverables from concept through to commissioning. The role involves producing EC&I design documents and coordinating multi-discipline tasks across regulated nuclear projects.

The successful candidate will have an HNC in electrical/control engineering with at least two years of relevant experience, and familiarity with CAD/BIM tools. This hybrid role may require travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification is an HNC or equivalent in electrical, control engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
• Experience interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
• Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site is preferred.

• Deliver design project deliverables covering concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
• Produce EC&I design documents and drawings to project standards and requirements.

Location: Warrington (hybrid)

As an EC&I Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include:

• Delivering design project deliverables. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
• Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
• Be responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project.

Profil souhaité

• Minimum qualification for this role is an HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical, control engineering or similar.

• Experienced in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
• Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site.
• Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
• Familiarity with AutoCad design.
• Familiarity with BIM enabled projects.

Additional

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted.

Close working relationships with other Orano sites and client sites may be required, which necessitates regular travel to those sites (dependent upon project & client requirements).
