Marine Resources Recruitment Ltd has a Graduate / Junior Naval Architect position in the United Kingdom with remote working available. Salary £28,000 - £35,000, permanent full-time.

The client seeks a recent Naval Architecture graduate or early-career naval architect to join a growing marine engineering team, gaining hands-on experience across concept design, stability analysis, and production engineering. You will work alongside senior engineers, receive training and mentorship, and contribute

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Naval Architecture or a related discipline.
• Recent graduate or up to 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong interest in marine design, engineering and vessel development.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project scope and technical specifications.
• Support vessel concept design for interior and exterior layouts.
• Produce production and construction drawings.
• Assist inclining experiments and stability booklet preparation.
• Conduct vessel performance assessments for power and sailing craft.
• Support structural design for composite, steel and aluminium vessels.
• Assist marine systems design and engineering.
• Develop interior arrangement and layout designs.
• Provide production support for CNC manufacturing operations.
• Learn CFD analysis and 3D laser scanning surveys.
• Apply classification society and flag state regulations.
