Job summary

Kent in London is seeking a Graduate Naval Architect Engineer to contribute to offshore wind and oil & gas projects. You will design and analyse floating and fixed offshore structures, progressing from concept through life extension with mentorship and hands-on experience.

The graduate scheme offers exposure to feasibility studies, sizing, and client-facing consultancy work, with a hybrid working model and opportunities to grow towards professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Master's/MEng degree in Naval Architecture, Maritime Engineering or Ship Science.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of floating and fixed offshore structures from concept to decommissioning.
• Hydrodynamic, mooring, stability and structural assessments.
• Learning to use tools such as DNV SESAM (GeniE, HydroD, SIMA & Riflex), OrcaFlex and Python.
• Interfacing with clients to discuss engineering solutions to complex problems.
• Supporting external markets, business development and work winning activities.
