Job title: Graduate Air Modelling & Simulation Engineer

Location: Warton/Samlesbury (Lancashire)

We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however, for this role, you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you’ll be doing:

Modelling & Simulation has applications throughout the whole engineering lifecycle:

  • From prototyping and evaluating early design concepts.
  • Producing a realistic model of how a system performs.
  • Developing complex networked simulations to support front-line training activities.
  • Preparing and improving software toolsets, e.g., computational fluid dynamics or electromagnetics simulation.
  • Validation and documentation of toolsets.
  • Developing new prototype Virtual Reality or Artificial Intelligence-based demonstrators to improve product usability or design.

Qualification requirements

Minimum requirements include a predicted or obtained 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Game Development (including AR/VR), Computer Graphics (Warton-based roles), Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM subjects with modelling and simulation modules.
