This is a varied role within a foundry environment. Daily responsibilities include working closely with the quality and technical teams to review customer metallurgical drawings and develop specific work instructions for manufacturing. You will ensure traceability for all melting and metal processes, suggest process improvements, support production planning and operations to meet targets, conduct microstructural testing using optical and digital tools, perform root cause analysis for defects, implement corrective actions, and generate reports for customer returns and internal audits.
