Job summary
Mercedes AMG HPP is seeking a Mechanical Simulation Engineering Graduate in our Northamptonshire Tech Centre. You will learn to become a multi-skilled simulation engineer through hands-on projects across engine, powertrain and related subsystems.
You will conduct static and dynamic analyses, use FEA/MBD/CFD tools, and tackle complex problems to support design decisions. The programme combines training with real project deliveries and exposure to industry-leading practices.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified (2:1 minimum) in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive / Aerospace or similar.
- Strong A-Levels in Maths & Physics.
- Experience with FEA/MBD/CFD tools and simulation workflows.
- Ability to handle multi-disciplinary simulations and deliver insights.
Responsibilities
- Conduct simulations on components, assemblies and systems (thermal/mechanical/fatigue).
- Deliver static and dynamic analyses and validate results.
- Work across FEA, MBD and CFD to solve complex problems.
- Develop simulation processes balancing speed and accuracy.
- Communicate technical solutions to stakeholders and produce reports.
