Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical engineering designs for water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations, reservoirs, and network infrastructure.
• Produce mechanical calculations, specifications, schedules, technical reports, and design documentation.
• Design and specify mechanical process equipment, including pumps, screens, valves, pipework systems, penstocks, mixers, and treatment plant equipment.
• Support the development of outline and detailed designs in collaboration with process, electrical, ICA, civil, and structural engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and value engineering workshops.
• Undertake site visits, surveys, inspections, and commissioning support activities as required.
• Ensure designs comply with client specifications, industry standards, health and safety legislation, and environmental requirements.
• Support the development of project cost estimates, programmes, and technical proposals.
• Contribute to risk management and identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
