Job summary

Jacobs invites talented graduates to join a two-year Graduate Development Program designed to accelerate early career development in civil engineering and related disciplines. You will gain hands-on experience on water and wastewater projects across the UK and Ireland, supported by mentoring and structured learning.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, grow technical and consulting skills, and pursue professional accreditation as you progress.

Qualifications

Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering or similar.
Flexible, proactive mindset and motivation to drive your career forward.
Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning. Permanent right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Support development and delivery of civil engineering designs for water and wastewater projects.
Assist with calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Assist with site inspections, surveys, condition assessments and construction support.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and safety workshops.
Ensure designs meet standards, client requirements and best practice.
Contribute to projects within budgets and programmes while maintaining quality.
Build relationships with project teams, clients, contractors and stakeholders.
Engage in CPD and work towards professional accreditation.
