Job summary

Assystem invites Mechanical Engineering graduates to join its two-year Graduate Programme in the UK, rotating across Defence, New Build, Fusion and Modular Nuclear projects. You will work with mentors and engineers to gain hands-on experience on live projects across multiple sectors.

From day one you’ll engage in real engineering challenges, supported by technical experts, building broad experience before specialising in the areas that interest you most.

Qualifications

• Graduates with Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Curious, motivated to learn and eager to apply ideas.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical design, specifications and engineering assessments.
• Prepare calculations, notes, reports and documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Use engineering tools and standards with guidance from experienced colleagues.
• Contribute to identifying and resolving technical issues and interfaces.
