Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp in Cardiff is recruiting for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer as part of the Autumn 2027 Evolve graduate programme. You will gain on-the-job learning across building services design, including heating, cooling, ventilation, water and other mechanical systems, while collaborating with clients, architects and engineers.

• Permanent Right to Work in the UK with no visa sponsorship required.
• Available to start full-time from September 2027.

Responsibilities

Our two-year Evolve graduate programme develops and supports the next generation of Built Environment professionals. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Ridge you will benefit from on-the-job learning experiences while working on buildings and developments across a variety of sectors. You’ll build practical experience in the design and specification of building services such as heating, cooling, ventilation, water and other mechanical systems, alongside energy-efficient and sustainable solutions. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors, gaining a rounded understanding of how successful projects are developed and delivered.
