Stantec is recruiting a Graduate Mechanical Engineer for its Energy & Resources team in Newcastle or Redditch. You will balance learning with practical project delivery across energy sectors, supporting decarbonisation and net-zero initiatives.

You’ll work with 20+ engineers and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on cost analyses, feasibility studies, design, and commissioning support. Applicants should have an IMechE-accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering and an interest in energy

• IMechE-accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in energy transition and major infrastructure.
• Eligible to work in the UK without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking outline and detailed mechanical design with QA focus.
• Conducting technical feasibility and cost studies for decarbonisation.
• Coordinating mechanical designs with other functions.
• Collaborating with internal teams, sub-consultants and clients.
