Job summary

Assystem’s two-year Graduate Programme offers hands-on experience in electrical, control and instrumentation (EC&I) engineering on live Defence and New Build projects in the UK. From day one you’ll build experience and grow under the guidance of experienced engineers.

You’ll work on design and specification, prepare calculations and documentation, support testing and technical problem-solving, and collaborate with mechanical, safety and digital teams to manage interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control, Mechatronics or Power Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Curious, motivated to learn and ready to put ideas into practice.
• Able to communicate clearly and work with others.
• Logical thinker with attention to detail.
• Eager to build a career on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and specification of electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, schedules, reports and design documentation.
• Contribute to requirements capture, design reviews and technical assurance.
• Work with mechanical, process, safety and digital teams to manage interfaces.
• Support testing, verification and technical problem-solving.
