The Opportunity

Report to the Senior Mechanical Engineer or project/business Director, collaborating with Electrical and Mechanical engineers within the Project Team, with support from Senior engineers.

You will assist Mechanical Engineers on various projects, responsible for mechanical design with guidance from senior engineers, reporting workload, and prioritizing tasks.

You will also support project engineers in resource planning, attend team meetings, and seek efficiencies in your design activities.

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer you will:

• Operate on multiple projects with assistance from Mechanical Project engineers.
• Complete detailed mechanical designs with support.
• Perform calculations for domestic, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems with support.
• Coordinate design with electrical team members.
• Manage your workload with guidance, ensuring timely delivery.
• Adopt up-to-date practices and innovate.
• Provide data and input for sustainability modeling.

Technical Ability

• Basic understanding of building regulations, CIBSE, British standards, BSRIA, and other design guides.
• Proficiency in Office, AutoCAD, and Hevacomp.
• Aiming for CIBSE membership accreditation.
