Job summary

Sigma Recruitment Limited is hiring a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Lichfield. You will develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, applying mechanical engineering principles to structural and functional design challenges, and supporting product analysis.

You will gain hands-on experience with prototyping, first-off sample reviews, and engineering documentation while gathering feedback from operations to inform design decisions and participating in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline.
• Exposure to 3D CAD (SolidWorks or any major package).
• Eager to learn and develop your design skills within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings to required standards and tolerances.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to structural and functional design challenges.
• Support product analysis and contribute to design improvements.
• Hands-on prototyping, first-off sample reviews and engineering documentation.
• Gather feedback from operations to inform design decisions.
• Take part in design reviews and contribute your technical input.

Your salary, benefits & hours of work

• £28,000 - £30,000 depending on background
