Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Dumbarton. Design new products, systems, and components using best practices, while supporting development, integration, and validation of mechanical systems.

You will create Bills of Materials, technical specifications, and test procedures, and support continuous improvement and investigations across manufacturing and operations. A 2:1 or higher mechanical engineering degree is preferred, with strong design, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified mechanical engineering graduate (2:1 or above preferred).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles (thermal, stress, vibration, flow, and noise).
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks or Ansys is desirable.
• Ability to interpret requirements and produce engineering solutions and detailed specs.
• Collaborative team player with good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

What you’ll do as Graduate Mechanical Engineer

• Design new products, systems, and components using engineering best practices.

You are:

• Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineering Graduate (or similar) with a 2:1 or above preferred.
