Engineering Design & Supplies Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design and Development Engineer to design moving and lifting equipment, fixtures and tooling using SolidWorks, and to manage projects from concept through prototype trials.

You will work in a small team, liaising with customers and suppliers, and may travel as needed. The role is full-time and based at Ellistown, Leicestershire, with occasional extra hours to support key projects.

Formación

• Experience in mechanical design and development processes.
• Ability to interpret and develop specifications with customers.
• Strong communication skills within a small team and with suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Design parts and assemblies for lifting, moving, fixtures and tooling using Solidworks.
• Design associated components for manufacture on Solidworks.
• Develop specifications with customers and their requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings with manufacturing data.
• Quote for design and manufacture of solutions.
• Deliver projects to customer satisfaction and timescales.
• Manage project-related risks.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
