Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) to kick-start your engineering career with a respected UK consultancy. You will work on a variety of building services projects and gain hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers committed to your development.

You will contribute to the design of mechanical systems, support calculations and drawings, and participate in site visits, training, and client meetings as part of a structured

Qualifications

• A degree (or expected degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Interest in mechanical building services design.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of mechanical building services systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, public health).
• Support production of calculations, technical reports, specifications and design drawings.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams through project stages.
• Attend site visits and client meetings to gain practical experience.
• Learn industry standards, regulations and best practice.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality engineering solutions across projects.
