Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Graduate Manufacturing Technical Writer to join our Lomondgate Production Facility. You will collaborate with engineers and operations to create clear documentation, SOPs and training materials, translating complex processes into user-friendly content, and supporting continuous improvement and safe operations. This entry-level role offers development pathways and exposure to manufacturing best practices at Aggreko.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or relevant experience within a mechanical, electrical or engineering environment.
• Strong interest in turning technical information into clear, easy-to-understand documentation.
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, quality standards and management systems such as ISO.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work across multiple teams.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a desire to develop technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain clear technical documents, including SOPs, work instructions and training materials.
• Capture manufacturing processes through shop floor observation, gathering detailed steps, photos and technical information.
• Work closely with engineers, production teams and subject matter experts to translate complex information into user-friendly content.
• Develop visual documentation using diagrams, flowcharts and schematics to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant with quality standards and reflects manufacturing best practice
