Job summary
CMR Surgical is seeking a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer for its new site in Ely, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. You will join a multidisciplinary manufacturing team, supporting production processes for the Versius Surgical Robotic System and helping implement design changes and process improvements.
You will work across concept development to realisation, supporting verification, validation, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Recently qualified with a degree in engineering, manufacturing or related discipline.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a track record of delivering high quality results.
- Able to manage own projects within an agile team and apply technical knowledge to industrial solutions.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line hands-on support to Production teams.
- Support verification, validation, and risk management activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements and design changes to achieve compliance and scale-up.
- Carry out risk assessments and Process FMEA under supervision and communicate mitigation actions.
