Job summary

TS International in Surrey (M25 near Woking) is seeking a Graduate Control System Engineer to take ownership from specification through to commissioning. You will work with lighting controls, provide wiring schematics, and guide contractors to live systems.

You will collaborate with consultants and contractors, using Bluebeam and AutoCAD, and gain exposure to BACnet/BMS integrations while developing practical problem-solving approaches.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical/Building Services Engineering/ Electronics/ Mech Eng.
• Willing to specialise in lighting controls.
• Comfortable on the phone and in person with contractors and consultants.
• Problem-solver, able to work through wiring or configuration issues methodically.
• Good working knowledge of power supplies, relays and sensors.
• Awareness of BACnet or BMS integration is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Specification & design support — producing control strategies, wiring schematics, and lighting layout designs.
• Commissioning — on-site and remotely, working with electrical contractors to go live.
• Technical product guidance — advising consultants and contractors on suitable detectors and control solutions.
• Supporting projects that talk to BACnet/IP and BMS platforms, including scope of points.
• Customer & colleague technical support — fielding questions by phone and email, and supplying technical input.
