Job summary
Morgan Jones is recruiting a Commissioning Engineer to work on London-based projects, with on-site and remote aftercare. You will commission, test, set to work and witness lighting control systems across flagship and legacy installations, while ensuring fault-finding and maintenance support throughout multiple projects.
The role offers a 35-hour week, paid travel and subsistence, healthcare and pension, with structured training and long-term career development in a dynamic lighting control
Qualifications
- 18th Edition electrician (preferred).
- Strong DALI and lighting control knowledge.
- Valid ECS / CSCS card.
- Experience with IP networks, routers and gateways.
- Comfortable with site-based, physical work.
- One Saturday per month and occasional out‑of‑hours work.
Responsibilities
- Testing, commissioning and handover of lighting control systems.
- Client and engineer training on‑site.
- Routine PPM works and reactive troubleshooting.
- Headend installation and IP network configuration.
- Technical advice to end users and contractors.
- Daily SARs, snag reports and health check reports.
- Maintaining accurate backups and site documentation.
- Supporting upgrades, remedial works and RMAs.
- Adhering to health & safety standards and site compliance.
