Job summary

Academics in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive primary school team. The role offers one-to-one and small-group SEN support, with opportunities to work across classes and contribute to interventions. Start is immediate or from October half term.

The position is full-time, term-time only, with 8:30am–3:30pm hours and a weekly pay of 445–500. This is a strong stepping stone toward teacher training through School Direct and related

Qualifications

• Degree in any subject.
• Grade C/5 in GCSE English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Support class teachers with tailored learning activities and interventions.
• Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage confidence and independence.
• Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff.
