Job summary

Academics in Chesham is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school. You will provide SEN support, assist teachers with tailored activities and help pupils grow academically, socially and emotionally.

This long-term, full-time role runs Monday to Friday during term time from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with immediate or October half-term start. It offers strong progression into teacher training through the School Direct programme and valuable hands-on classroom

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education?

Would you like to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive primary school before progressing into teacher training?

A fantastic primary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire is looking to expand its Learning Support Team and is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistants to join the school immediately or from October half term.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Support class teachers with tailored learning activities and interventions

• Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage confidence and independence
• Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff

Person Specification
