Job summary

Rentokil Initial plc’s Urban Planters in Chester is seeking a Graduate Horticultural Technician to support live and artificial plant displays across the Warrington, Runcorn, Frodsham and Stockport area. You’ll receive full externally accredited training with no prior experience required.

The role offers a structured career path, a 40-hour week, and a starting salary around £26,700 with bonus opportunities, a company vehicle, fuel card and RI Rewards, plus further progression into Sales

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 degree in a science-based subject (horticulture or agriculture).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work with customers and in a guest-facing role.
• Flexible working patterns to support business needs.
• DBS check may be required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays.
• Replace dead or overgrown plants and maintain artificial displays.
• Assist with plant display installations and seasonal setups.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional image at all times.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
