We are looking for a candidate with a strong desire to learn and be able to work as part of a team, supporting the geotechnical engineers with the design delivery. The selected candidate will be enrolled onto our Graduate Training Scheme, and you will be fully supported to achieve professional chartership and helped through the process by our in-house professional development. During your time as a graduate, you will be working alongside our best engineers in the industry on exciting and challenging projects. We will be there to encourage collaborative behaviours and support your individual personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• BEng in Geotechnics or other relevant subjects.
• MEng or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering is preferable but not essential.
• Preference for the candidate to be interested in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology.
• If on an MEng, then Geotechnical modules should have been studied.

The suitable candidate:

• Demonstrable knowledge of geotechnics and the determination to find solutions to problems
• Strong desire to excel through learning/sharing ideas.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Hard-working and Enthusiastic
• Ability to work within a forward-thinking team environment.
• Ability to produce written reports to the highest standard, presenting technical information clearly and concisely.

The role will involve:

• Preparing ground models and design parameters
• Analysis of slopes, platform, retaining wall, foundations and other geotechnical structures.
• Producing professional and technically competent reports and liaising with specialists and clients.
• Providing support in all aspects of project delivery, including client liaison and coordination with colleagues from other disciplines.
• Contributing to the implementation of higher sustainability in our project delivery.
• Ensure that all work is delivered in accordance with standards and policies and to the highest safety, health, and environmental standards.
