Job summary

Penguin Recruitment has a Derby-based permanent Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position offering structured development and hands-on experience across UK projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or similar.
• Full Right to work in the UK permanently.
• Live within a commutable distance of Derby/Newark/Lincolnshire.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Support ground investigations, site inspections, and technical reporting.
• Assist with foundation assessments and office-based analysis.
• Work with experienced engineers to develop practical site skills.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project delivery and knowledge sharing.
