Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Graduate Geophysicist to acquire geophysical data in the field and assist with data processing in the office. This role will involve fieldwork in various projects within the offshore renewable energy sector.

A degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related subject is required. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in data management, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Geology or Geophysics.
• Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot data when necessary.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
• High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Undertake fieldwork for projects onshore and offshore.
• Assist with data processing and management of geophysical datasets.
• Perform data quality control and assurance.
• Create charts in QGIS or ArcGIS for project documentation.
• Report preparation based on geophysical survey data.
