Job summary

Curtins is seeking a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join its employee-owned engineering consultancy. Youll work within a supportive team of geo-environmental specialists, gaining hands-on experience in site assessments, risk analysis, and remediation strategies on varied projects across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with a relevant degree in geoscience, environmental or civil engineering.
• MSc in Geo Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Geology or Environmental Science is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn through Curtins Graduate Academy and professional registration support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contaminated land and environmental site assessments.
• Support Phase 1 Preliminary Risk Assessments and Phase 2 Ground Investigations.
• Interpret environmental monitoring and laboratory data.
• Assist with environmental risk assessments for human health, controlled waters and ground gases.
• Support development of remediation strategies and verification reports.
• Prepare factual and interpretative geo-environmental reports.
• Undertake site visits, environmental monitoring and fieldwork activities.
