Job summary

Curtins, an employee-owned engineering consultancy, seeks a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our Geo-Environmental team in the UK. You’ll gain hands-on experience in contaminated land assessment, ground investigations, remediation strategies and environmental risk management as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary group.

You’ll work with experienced engineers and consultants, building technical skills and practical knowledge to help deliver safe, sustainable developments.

Qualifications

• Graduate with interest in geology, environmental engineering and ground conditions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with desire to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to work with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contaminated land and environmental site assessments.
• Support Phase 1 Preliminary Risk Assessments and Phase 2 Ground Investigations.
• Interpret environmental monitoring data and lab results.
• Support environmental risk assessments for health, waters and ground gases.
• Assist with remediation strategies and verification reports.
• Prepare factual and interpretative geo-environmental reports.
• Undertake site visits, monitoring and fieldwork.
