Are you a 2024 / 2025 graduate in Computer Science or a Java Developer with one year of experience, looking for a new opportunity in Finance?

I am working with a next-generation Capital Markets business based in Central London, who are looking for a Junior or +1 year of experience Java Developer to join them.

As a Junior Java Developer, you will have commercial or industrial experience working with Core Java, and an interest in Capital Markets, Trading, Forex, etc.; and enjoy working in a small business environment with approximately 20 employees.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications for capital markets trading platforms.
• Collaborate with trading and finance teams to implement new features and improvements.
• Ensure low latency and high performance of trading systems.

Requirements:

• 1st or 2:1 degree from Oxbridge or Top Russell Group University.
• Experience working with Java (projects or commercial/industrial experience).
• Knowledge of finance, especially Front Office operations.
• Experience with Connectivity and Low Latency Java development.
• Knowledge of Garbage Collection and Memory Management.
