Job summary

Tetra Tech is recruiting a Graduate Consultant to join our flood risk and drainage teams in Leeds, Manchester or London. Start date September 2027 as part of our Next Gen Talent development programme, combining hands-on project experience with structured learning and development.

You will support early-stage briefs through to delivery, working with senior colleagues on flood risk design, hydraulic modelling and sustainability-focused drainage solutions across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or Geography (BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng).
• Eligible for CEng MICE or CIWEM chartered.
• Suitability for Security Clearance to SC level is essential.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support flood risk design, hydraulic modelling, hydrology assessment, drainage design and SuDS.
• Contribute to projects across public and private infrastructure sectors.
• Work on projects from £1m to £100m, gaining broad industry exposure.
