Jobtailor is seeking a graduate fire engineer to support research, design and site work across diverse sectors. You will contribute to developing fire strategies, conducting site visits, and producing technical reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level candidate with knowledge of fire safety engineering techniques and practices.
• Understanding of fire engineering principles and relevant legislation.
• Completion of the graduate training scheme during early career.
• Plan to achieve Associate Member status with the Institution of Fire Engineers.
• Proactive approach with accountability for personal and team goals.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple offices and clients.

Responsibilities

• Undertake research on new fire safety products and systems.
• Work with design teams to develop fire strategy designs.
• Prepare fire strategies and technical reports outlining design bases and methodologies.
• Undertake site inspections and computational modelling.
• Support implementation of fire safety management and protection measures.
• Develop fire strategy designs across residential, commercial, heritage, healthcare, and other sectors.
