Job summary

Tetra Tech is offering a Graduate Fire Engineer opportunity in the UK, part of our Next Gen Talent development programme. The role blends office-based fire engineering with site visits to homes, offices and public buildings, with supervision as you build your competence.

You will work on fire safety strategies, reporting, and project documentation while developing technical and professional skills through structured training, CPD, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Relevant fire safety or structural engineering degree or in progress.
• Interest in building performance and life safety.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support fire engineering and fire safety consultancy across new-build and existing buildings.
• Attend site inspections and prepare technical reports and schedules.
• Contribute to fire strategies, design reviews and project documentation.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and multidisciplinary teams.
