The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is hiring a Graduate Business Analyst in Birmingham. You will gather requirements, translate them into actionable specs and work with product, engineering and compliance teams to deliver data-driven improvements.

You’ll analyse data, build dashboards, and support rollout of new systems. Expect a fast-paced start-up environment with a learning budget and an office-based role in the city center.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in business, finance, economics, maths or related field.
• Strong Excel skills are essential; interest in SQL or data visualization tools is desirable.
• Sharp analytical thinking; ability to spot patterns and trends.
• Confident written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in how Financial Services works, including regulation and customer behavior.
• Comfort with ambiguity: startups move quickly and without a manual.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements from stakeholders into clear specifications.
• Analyse operational data to spot trends and flag risks.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards used by leadership.
• Support the rollout of new systems and processes, testing changes before go-live.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and compliance to avoid gaps.
• Document processes and workflows to keep the team aligned.
