Job summary

MET Recruitment UK LTD is recruiting a Graduate Finance Assistant in Bilston, West Midlands. This full-time, permanent role offers a structured entry into finance with training and study support towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA.

You will work with the finance team to develop practical experience and cover a range of accounting tasks. Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a 2:1 or higher in Finance, Accounting or Economics, strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset, eager to build a long-term

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Degree from a Russell Group or red-brick university.
• Good A-level results.
• Previous finance exposure through internship or placement.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting functions.
• Process and maintain accurate financial records and transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Complete bank and account reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and spreadsheets.
• Use Microsoft Excel to analyze, organize and manage financial data.
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting.
• Maintain accurate and organized finance documentation and records.
• Assist with invoices, payments and expense records.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider finance team.
