Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Graduate Finance Assistant to join our client based in Bilston. The role involves assisting with daily finance and accounting activities, supporting month-end processes and helping with budgeting and forecasting.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily finance and accounting activities.
• Support month-end processes and financial reporting.
• Analyse financial data using Excel and internal systems.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Work closely with senior finance staff on ongoing projects.
• Ensure all financial information is processed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Achieved a 2:1 or First-Class degree.
• Strong academic background, including good A-Level results.
• Some finance experience gained through an internship, placement year or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical abilities.
• Study support towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA
