Job summary

Adler & Allan is seeking a Graduate Environmental Consultant to support planning, procurement, supervision and data collection for environmental incident management and insurance claims. The role is primarily based in the East of England with travel across the UK as required, mentored by senior team members.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in earth sciences or geo-environmental disciplines, is computer-literate and holds a valid UK driving licence. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental assessment or monitoring is advantageous but not essential.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel across the Company’s footprint with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking field works including recording measurements, environmental monitoring and collecting soil, water and air samples.
• Supporting senior colleagues in the delivery of Environmental Consultancy projects.
• Provision of accurate and timely information to line management including all admin tasks.
• Supporting team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices at all levels.
• Prepare and schedule samples for laboratory analysis and liaise with the laboratory.
• Ensure field equipment is maintained and calibrated as required.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety, technical robustness and organisation.
• Undertake other tasks assigned by supervision within qualification.
