Your Future Responsibilities
  • Route cables in AVEVA E3D using the Cabling System module, based on cable lists provided as input for the activity.
  • Define the overall architecture of the Local Cable Tray layout for each building room, in compliance with project requirements (cable segregation by voltage level, electrical train, etc.).
  • Perform the pre-dimensioning (creation of volumes) of Local Cable Trays in the 3D model, following the defined and validated architecture.
  • Carry out the final detailing of Local Cable Trays (LCTs) using Aveva E3D catalogue components (straight sections, couplers, bends, etc.), maintaining appropriate interfaces with surrounding systems and disciplines.
  • Add supports to the final LCT network, in accordance with project requirements and rules.
Your Profile

Holding an Engineering degree or with at least 2 years of experience in CAD drafting and design, you have a good understanding of 3D CAD modelling and engineering principles in electrical, mechanical or structural disciplines.

Experience with AVEVA E3D or PDMS is essential, while knowledge of BIM environments, MEH installation design, cable routing, cable tray design, or experience in the nuclear and heavy industrial sectors would be considered an asset.

A good command of the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiarity with AVEVA E3D Cabling and Navisworks would be advantageous. Additional training on project-specific tools, methods and processes will be provided.

Organised, analytical and proactive, you are comfortable working autonomously as well as within multidisciplinary teams. You can anticipate challenges, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work while meeting demanding deadlines.

Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential, while French language skills would be a plus.
