Job summary

Clear. is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Building Management Systems (BMS) team across Essex and London. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on training in building controls, automation and energy management systems.

This role is ideal for recent graduates seeking a career in the BMS and smart buildings sector. You will develop technical knowledge while supporting installation, commissioning and maintenance activities across commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems or a related discipline.
• Genuine interest in Building Management Systems, controls and building automation.
• Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Support senior engineers with the configuration and programming of BMS control systems.
• Assist with fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting of building control systems.
• Develop an understanding of BMS software, graphics, controllers and field devices.
• Support engineers with planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
• Assist with identifying opportunities to improve building performance and energy efficiency.
• Learn to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and control schematics.
• Work across a variety of commercial building environments throughout Essex and London.
• Build strong technical knowledge of industry-leading BMS platforms and technologies.
