Job summary

Arup is a global design and consulting firm seeking a Graduate Energy Consultant to join the Energy Advisory team in the Midlands region. You will contribute to strategic energy projects, work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and gain exposure to high voltage, offshore wind, hydrogen, and CCUS initiatives.

You will learn from experienced professionals, engage in learning sessions, site visits, international travel, and networking opportunities to develop your career in energy consulting

Qualifications

• Working towards a related Bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 or higher prediction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent reasoning and analytical abilities.
• Ability to present ideas clearly to varied audiences.
• Proactive, collaborative and able to manage multiple requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between clients and multidisciplinary teams to produce high‑quality conclusions and reports.
• Develop technical and commercial papers and present findings and recommendations.
• Advise on policy, legislation and procurement options; support delivery.
• Support project and programme management best practice.
• Assist in achieving bankability and timely financial investment decisions.
