Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in the United Kingdom is seeking a Graduate Electronics Engineer to contribute to cutting‑edge electronics for the race car. You will design bespoke PCBs, capture schematics, and layout boards using Altium Designer while applying curiosity and problem-solving to ambitious technical challenges.

You will write software in C/C++ for embedded and Linux platforms, analyze systems, perform reliability investigations, and rigorously document progress for stakeholders under

Qualifications

Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
Passion for electronics with curiosity and problem solving.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Electronics engineering and design of bespoke PCBs including schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
Research and development of new electronic technologies to meet demanding F1 requirements.
Writing software in C/C++ for embedded and Linux platforms as required.
Analyse and interpret electrical and electronic systems to understand how they work and drive solutions.
Rig and bench testing of designed parts to ensure they meet design specification.
