Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team is seeking a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join our Electronics group. You will contribute to designing and delivering innovative, 'Right First Time' engineering solutions that help the Team succeed in a demanding, high-performance environment.

Working in a small, collaborative group, you will apply curiosity and problem-solving to develop cutting-edge electronics that deliver race-winning performance on the car.

Qualifications

• Graduating or recent graduate in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Interest in electronics design and development for high-performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Electronics engineering and design of bespoke PCBs including schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
• Research and development of new electronic technologies to meet advanced F1 requirements.
• Writing software in C/C++ for embedded and Linux platforms as required.
• Analyze electrical and electronic systems to identify issues and drive solutions.
• Capturing requirements and specifications.
• Conducting reliability investigations and fault finding of electronic designs and systems.
• Rig and bench testing of designed parts to meet specifications.
• Report project progress to stakeholders and ensure documentation to standards.
