Job summary

ONE Consulting in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Graduate Electronic Engineer graduating in 2027 for our annual graduate intake. This entry level role offers hands-on exposure to hardware and software development across test systems.

You will learn to design electronic test applications, develop test specs, liaise with suppliers, and contribute to hardware and pneumatic design, with comprehensive training including LabVIEW and TestStand as needed.

Qualifications

• Formal engineering qualification in electronic engineering or electronic and electrical engineering.
• Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or related subjects; engineering placement beneficial.
• A Levels (or equivalent) in at least two of Maths, Physics, Design Technology, IT, Electronics.
• Five GCSEs at Grade B or above.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic test applications.
• Electronic and Pneumatic system design.
• Execute hardware design tasks within the hardware development plan and timescales.
• Develop hardware test specifications and procedures in line with customer requirements.
• Document the project scope for each assignment.
• Ensure procurement, design, development implementation is within project scope and budget.
• Design and develop new parts for our range of test systems.
• Solve issues in test applications (Mechanical, Electrical or Pneumatic).
• Assembly of Mechanical and Electrical assemblies, including soldering and Crimping.
• Liaise with Suppliers and identify cost-effective manufacturing methods.
• Produce and control Engineering drawings.
• Support the preparation of project proposals and specifications for external bids.
• Site visits as required.
