Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Junior Electronics Engineer in the United Kingdom to join a growing engineering team. This role suits a recent graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in electronics hardware design.

You will work on design, development, testing and validation of electronic systems from concept through to prototype. Responsibilities include designing analogue and digital circuits, supporting PCB design, building prototypes and collaborating across engineering

Qualifications

• First-Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong final-year project involving design, build and testing of an electronic system.
• Hands-on experience in electronics hardware development.
• Exposure to FPGA, RF, power electronics or embedded systems development.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
• Familiarity with EMC considerations and electronic system validation.
• Industrial placement, internship or relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• Support schematic capture, component selection and PCB design activities.
• Build, test and debug electronic hardware prototypes.
• Carry out laboratory testing, fault finding and design verification.
• Support product development throughout the full engineering lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on new product development projects.
• Produce technical documentation and test reports.
