Job summary

AECOM in the UK invites graduates to join the Building Services team as a Graduate Electrical Engineer, starting October 2026. You will work on live projects across health, commercial, and public sectors, gaining hands-on experience in electrical design, coordination, and project delivery within a multidisciplinary team.

You will be paired with an experienced engineer for mentorship, receive foundational training, and progress from concept to detailed design, with exposure to BIM workflows,

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrates understanding of electrical building services design and codes.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design of electrical building services systems.
• Assist in system load calculations and plant sizing.
• Support coordination of plant rooms and distribution routes.
• Prepare technical reports and develop system specifications.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams and attend project meetings.
