Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to join our team in 2026. The role offers hybrid working across UK locations and exposure to building services electrical design across diverse projects.

You will develop skills in electrical design, BIM workflows, load calculations and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, mentored by senior engineers. This is a structured graduate program with real project delivery from day one.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering with 2:1 minimum.
• Willingness to pursue professional registration (IEng/CEng) in the future.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or BIM processes is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design of electrical building services systems.
• Undertake system load calculations and assist with plant sizing.
• Coordinate plant rooms and distribution routes.
• Prepare technical reports and develop technical specifications for selected systems.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support site inspections during construction and commissioning.
