We are recruiting on behalf of a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy that has a permanent vacancy for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer based in Nottingham.

Your new role

In this role, you will:

• Enhance your skills, knowledge, and experience in electrical services.

You will collaborate with electrical designers on various projects, delivering services from feasibility to detailed and fully coordinated designs for installation (RIBA Stages 0 to 5).

The primary focus will be on HV network design and utility services applications, alongside designing electrical building services such as LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire, and security systems. Training will be provided for design software like ETAP, AMTEC, and Relux.

You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams using both 2D and 3D environments to produce detailed, sustainable building services designs.

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in electrical and electronic engineering or equivalent, or apprenticeship with City & Guilds qualifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to learn and use design software (ETAP, AMTEC, Relux, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
