Job summary

Kier Group in Leicestershire is recruiting a Graduate Drainage Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and contribute to the drainage elements of water infrastructure projects.

The 2-year permanent, full-time programme starts September 2027 with a starting salary of £31,000 per annum and salary progression to around £38k on completion. Benefits include 26 days annual leave and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Graduate in 2027 or within the past three years.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of design calculations, hydraulic models, and technical reports.
• Assisting in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications.
• Supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success
• Preparing technical reports, documentation, and providing project updates

Pathway:Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k
